Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine in depth the concept, mechanism and implementation of Mudharabah and Musyarakah in contemporary Islamic financial practices. Using a literature review method, this research examines various relevant literature, journal articles and case studies to identify challenges and opportunities in implementing these two forms of partnership. Mudharabah, as a form of cooperation between capital owners and business managers with profit sharing based on an initial agreement, and Musyarakah, which involves capital contributions from all partners with profit and loss sharing in proportion to investment, offer fair and sharia-based financial solutions. Research findings show that the implementation of Mudarabah and Musyarakah faces several challenges, such as differences in regulations and interpretation of sharia principles. However, through the development of an adaptive regulatory framework and product innovation, these two concepts have great potential to support sustainable and inclusive economic development. This research provides recommendations for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of Mudharabah and Musyarakah and makes a significant contribution to the development of Islamic finance literature.
