AIM AND SCOPE
Aim
The aim of TARBIYATUNA: Journal of Islamic Elementary Education is to provide a high-quality scholarly platform for disseminating original research, theoretical studies, and innovative educational practices that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, policy, and professional practices in the field of Islamic elementary education. The journal seeks to promote the development of effective teaching, learning, and educational management in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and other Islamic elementary educational institutions from interdisciplinary and evidence-based perspectives.
Scope
The journal covers a broad range of topics related to Islamic elementary education, including but not limited to curriculum development, learning strategies and instructional models, Islamic character education, teacher professionalism and competence, educational assessment and evaluation, educational technology and digital learning, instructional media development, literacy and numeracy education, inclusive education, educational leadership and school management, child development in Islamic educational settings, educational policy, multicultural and global education, citizenship education, environmental education, STEAM education, and contemporary issues in Islamic elementary education.
Focus
The journal primarily focuses on research-based studies and scholarly papers that examine teaching, learning, curriculum, educational innovation, and the holistic development of learners in Islamic elementary education, particularly within Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). The journal welcomes multidisciplinary contributions from education, Islamic studies, psychology, educational technology, curriculum studies, language education, mathematics and science education, social sciences, and other related disciplines that support the improvement of quality, innovation, and sustainability in Islamic elementary education.
